The Role

 

We are looking for a strong mat pilates instructor to teach our 8.30am Sunday class. An established class with 40-50 members who love mat pilates. We have beautiful big room, stage and sound system in a redeveloped centre. You will be able to enjoy a free membership including our pool, sauna and spa, all group fitness classes including reformer. Please apply if you would like to be part of an amazing supportive team.

  • Previous experience as a Pilates Instructor ( Desirable)
  • Experience as a group fitness instructor
  • The ability to work independently with flexible hours
  • Have an understanding of group fitness programs and the timetable and develop the classes.
  • Generation and follow up of Clinical Pilates sessions through funded programs.
  • Cert III in Fitness, Fitness Leaders Course, or Group Exercise Instructor (GEI).
  • Current fitness registration with Fitness Australia
  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate
  • Current CPR Certificate
  • Relevant Program Certification ( eg - Reformer Pilates)
  • Working with Children's Check
  • Agree to undergo police check as part of the employment process
  • Driven to success with friendly can do attitude
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends is essential

Previous industry experience is highly regarded
