What does the job look like?

The Group Manager IT Corporate Services and PMO is a critical leadership role that works closely with the CIO, wider IT leadership team, internal and external stakeholders to steer the technological vision and initiatives of Linfox in alignment with our broader business goals.

This role is responsible for managing the solutions that support our corporate service functions with appropriate technologies that support our safety, security, efficiency, sustainability, and service goals. The corporate service functions include:

  • HR
  • Finance
  • Safety and Compliance
  • Marketing and Corporate Affairs
  • Legal
  • Fleet procurement services
  • Property and Greenfox (ESG)
  • Security (ArmSec)

Further to this, the role requires proficiency in project and program management methodologies to ensure successful delivery of IT initiatives on time and within budget. This will be supported by establishing metrics and KPIs to track the performance of IT initiatives, regularly evaluating progress, and making adjustments as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.

Are you the one?

You will have navigated from previous roles, an IT PMO function including managing project delivery framework and overall project portfolio reporting, tracking resource capacity, and driving adherence to fit for purpose project and risk governance and methodology guidelines.

Budget management for the corporate services and IT PMO teams is also a key capability of this role and an ability to understand, communicate and influence at the highest senior executive levels across Linfox (e.g., CEO, CFO and BU Presidents) will be highly regarded.

Through effective leadership and collaboration with various stakeholders, you will deliver robust IT services that optimise processes, elevate customer experiences, and ultimately contribute to the overall success and growth of Linfox.

Other background/experience will include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology and/or enterprise architecture and/or computer science and/or digital business transformation or related field PM and BA accreditation (e.g., Prince2, BABOK etc)­
  • Change management related qualification of commensurate experience
  • 15+ years’ experience in IT industry
  • 5+ years’ experience in senior IT leadership role
  • Transport, Supply Chain, Logistics, or alike industry experience is favourable
  • Proven track record in collaborating with senior leaders to interpret business needs related to projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, enterprise architecture, and technology governance.
