Teacher (Primary) – Full-time, Temporary

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and passionate educator to join our dedicated teaching team for the 2025 academic year. Here at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School Pinjarra, we place a strong emphasis on our school vision ‘every child is known’.

We are a dynamic, single stream, Catholic co-educational primary school catering for approximately 220 students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year Six.

The work of the Sisters of St Joseph and the founder of the order, St Mary of the Cross MacKillop, is the corner stone of our school where each community member is nurtured spiritually, academically, socially and physically. The school enjoys a close relationship with the parish and strong support from the parent community

Selection Criteria

•    Promotes the Catholic faith, education and ethos of the school
•    Demonstrates excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
•    Has a sound knowledge of the Religious Education Units of Work, the Western Australian Curriculum and adjusts teaching practices to cater for the needs of all students
•    Demonstrates the skills and capacity to promote a strong staff culture and work collaboratively with students, staff, parents and parish to build community

Qualifications Required

•    Registered with the Teacher Registration Board of WA  
•    Relevant four year tertiary qualification
•    Accreditation to teach Religious Education or working towards
