Our Head Office Finance team, based in Eagle Farm (Brisbane) supports our national operations and includes an experienced and supportive Credit Team.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Credit Administration Assistant to provide critical administration support and contribute to the effective and timely management of customer accounts and the collection of debts. 

The Role:

  • Apply the G. James National Credit Policy and a consistent best practice approach to managing credit accounts
  • Process credit applications, searches, trade reference checks and create new accounts
  • Receive and process payments and allocate to correct account
  • Provide efficient and confidential administrative support (including word processing, spreadsheets, document management, emailing, copying, filing, archiving)
  • Provide effective and timely communication assistance, including handling incoming calls and emails, directing, prioritising and assisting with enquiries
  • Develop and maintain sound working relationships with credit  and sales team members through positive interaction 

About You:

  • Administration experience with exposure to  finance, accounts receivable or credit preferred
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to multi-task prioritising time management skills
