Part-Time opportunities available at our wonderful Armadale home. Located at Regis Armadale: - Dandenong Rd, Armadale VIC Shift- Week 1 (Tues & Fri 7am to 3:15pm) & Week 2 (Tues &Thurs 7am to 3:15pm)Join our passionate country-wide team of caring professionals dedicated to making a meaningful impact on the lives of older Australians. Set on the edge of leafy Armadale, Regis Armadale is just a stone’s throw away from Malvern Central Shopping Centre, the sprawling Glenferrie Road shopping and dining precinct, and the magnificent parks and gardens of Caulfield. Our Home is also located just a two-minute walk from Malvern Station.
What your compassionate care looks like
You’ll keep a nurturing eye on each resident’s condition, and provide proactive care that creates special moments and enriches their daily life Manage care plans that uplift the mind, body and spirit through a deep understanding of each resident's holistic needs. You’ll provide respectful, tailored support that empowers their choices and independence You’ll ensure the safe and reliable management of the delivery of medication according to our protocols and procedures, with accurate documentation of medication plans, interventions and progress notes to enable seamless care and detailed medical record keeping You will work closely within the team to deliver resident-focused continuity of care models to meet Regis Aged Care best practiceAbout you
As a collaborative member of the team, you will possess:
Bachelor of Nursing degree or recognised equivalent qualification Current AHPRA Registration (Nursing) Flexibility in your availability Understanding or ability to learn the attributes of the AN-ACC funding system. Experience in complex nursing clinical services and/or aged care setting, hospitals, or community careTo work in residential aged care, you will need to provide satisfactory background checks, supply a NDIS worker screening clearance, COVID and flu vaccinations, and certification proof.
