An exciting opportunity exists to join Zurich’s Finance & Actuarial Systems team as a Senior Actuarial Analyst.
In this role, will be responsible in developing and maintaining the Life actuarial models that are the foundation for various analytical and reporting needs. You will participate in the evaluation and review of actuarial processes & models, perform statistical analyses, and interpret results of actuarial models. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, you will seek to understand and focus on their analytics needs, including critical metrics and KPIs, and deliver actionable insights to relevant decision-makers.
Important to your success - let's grow together
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, preferably in Actuarial studies
- Making progress with the Institute of Actuaries of Australia exams (or equivalent)
- Proficient in the use of actuarial systems (Prophet Professional and/or Prophet Enterprise)
- Knowledge of R/R Studio for data querying and manipulation is preferred
- Ability to understand, monitor, update, or enhance existing business or work processes
- Knowledge of business process improvement tools and techniques
- Experience in conducting data analyses, running experiments, and creating effective dashboards to communicate results
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
