Our dedicated Payroll team delivers end-to-end payroll services to over 1100 employees across over 70 pharmacies weekly.

The Role:

PBA Services is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to join their finance team based in Hamilton, QLD on a short term contract basis for approx 2.5 months. 

What you will do:

Accurate and timely processing of high volume end-to-end weekly payroll Ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and in accordance with legislation, employment contracts, agreements, awards and internal policies and procedures Provide high level communication and customer service Resolve payroll related issues and provide assistance to staff/managers/HR Contribute to adhoc tasks, including payroll system maintenance and year end

What we are looking for:

Demonstrated experience in coordinating an end-to-end payroll process including reporting, reconciling and quality control  Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar roles Experience in high volume payroll environment Excellent technical skills with payroll software and time and attendance systems Ability to prepare and process complex calculations, including long service leave entitlements, backpays, overpayment recoveries and termination payments and
the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines  Strong customer service focus  Ability to interpret Awards and administer multiple pay affecting employment conditions Knowledge of relevant Human Resources and Industrial Relations legislation, policy and procedures Meticulous attention to detail Team player Can take on responsibility, accountability, work independently and multitask.
