: The PSU Data officer will report to the Assistant Director – Analytics & Reporting in the PSU Strategy Team, which undertakes the broad range of activities including assessment of misconduct referrals, intelligence capability, data analytics and providing communications, education, and training regarding integrity and misconduct obligations across the ACTPS. In this role, you will assume a pivotal position within the PSU’s array of data-centric endeavours, positioned squarely at the forefront of our data-driven initiatives.This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about data to upskill in a dynamic and rapidly evolving field. To be successful in this position, you will be someone who excels in managing unique datasets with precision and security, analysing complex data to extract actionable insights, and effectively communicating findings to diverse stakeholders. Strong communication and time management skills are core to this role due to working in close partnership with other directorates within ACTPS, external partners and other government agencies.
Eligibility/Other requirements:
Experience in MS Excel and PowerBI is highly desirable. Educational and professional qualifications checks may be undertaken prior to employment. Criminal history checks will be conducted prior to employment.Notes : This position will be moving to a new workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
