Essential duties of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Lead and motivate the team, including servers, bartenders, and support staff, to deliver excellent customer service. This involves training, scheduling, and ensuring everyone follows standard operating procedures.
- Ensure guests have an outstanding experience by responding to their needs, handling complaints efficiently, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
- Ensure the team follows health, safety, and sanitation regulations. This may also include responsible service of alcohol regulations, depending on the region.
- Ensure accuracy whilst ordering and delivering food and beverage orders.
- Clear and reset tables and ensure service areas are clean and tidy.
- Maintain hygiene standards for food handling and presentation in line with expected outcomes.
- Explain the menu to guests, assisting those with special dietary needs or preferences and providing timely assistance when recommending beverages.
- Prior experience in the food and beverage industry would be beneficial.
- Promote a safe workplace by recognising hazards and promoting general WHS practices.

Whilst technical experience is of importance to us, to be considered for the role, you will have the following:
- Strong interpersonal skills to motivate and guide a team, address conflicts, and inspire a high level of service.
- A friendly, customer-focused attitude with the strive to provide total customer satisfaction.
- A deep commitment to hospitality, ensuring every guest has a positive experience.
- Initiative to ensure that interactions with our customers are positive, intuitive and efficient.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities, prioritize tasks, and maintain smooth operations under pressure.
- Clear communication with team members and management, as well as effective problem-solving skills when issues arise.
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certification.
- Confidence in liaising with various internal and external clients.
- A high standard of grooming and personal presentation.
- The ability and flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including early mornings, late evenings and weekends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
- A positive team player and guest-centric mindset.
