The Opportunity

Reporting to the Manager IT Security, Risk and Governance, the Cybersecurity Architect provides expertise on all aspects of Information and Operational Technology (IT/OT) cybersecurity, to ensure that we are protected against current and emerging cyber threats, with the right policies, procedures and standards in place.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assessing Cybersecurity risks and recommending appropriate treatment
  • Recommending improvements on the organisation's cybersecurity architecture
  • Provide informal mentoring and thought leadership for other members of the IT Security, Risk & Governance team

What is Required

  • Relevant tertiary degree or certification in cybersecurity, or significant experience in cybersecurity, risk or governance roles
  • 5+ years experience in cybersecurity, including advisory responsibilities
  • Experience working with IT and OT environments and an understanding of the differing objectives and approaches to cybersecurity
  • Current knowledge of cybersecurity threats
  • Experience reading and interpreting enterprise and solution architecture diagrams
  • Technical skills in penetration testing, network engineering and/or software engineering (desirable)
