What you will do

This is the perfect role for a qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or Auto-Electrician to transition from a 100% hands-on role to more of a hybrid role – a customer focused technical role with some hands-on support. You will:

Partner with customers and the Volvo Bus dealer network (including Truck Centre WA) to provide in-field support and technical assistance across the Perth and WA regionMaintain a high level of product knowledge and technical expertise, including our new electric bus technologiesSupport the Volvo Bus team with quality reporting and inspection of body unitsComplete assessments of warranty claimsProvide in field mechanic or auto-electrical assistance when neededMonitor dealer technical reporting systems

Volvo Bus Australia are a team of 23, geographically dispersed across QLD, VIC and WA. You will report to the Contract and Technical Support Manager and work alongside one other Field Service Engineer.
