About the Role
:Securecorp is currently seeking a switched on and motivated Security Business Manager to co-ordinate the recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing management of our Casual Labour Force in Victoria. Ensuring continuity of service delivery with trained resources, and in a manner which results in the highest possible quality of service to customers.
With proven experience in the security industry. Reporting to the State Operations Manager, the successful candidate will demonstrate a high standard of leadership, communication, organisational skills and a hands-on approach to managing our casual labour force.
Primary areas of responsibility and accountability include, but are not limited to:
Develop and maintain effective relationships withing he business. In particular, meet regularly with other Business Managers and key operational staff to develop improvement strategies for the use of Casual staff Coordination with Business Managers and Rostering Coordinators to establish Casual staff requirements Coordination with HR & Recruitment for advertisements and involvement in staff interviews and screening Meet regularly with Sub-Contractors to ensure they are compliant when completing services for Securecorp Maintain regular pro-active contact with clients including face to face meetings Manage complaints and/or performance issues Optimise relationships by ensuring both parties are meeting contractual obligations Provide innovative and cost-effective solutions to issues Provide quotations for services to new and existing clients Ensure all clients are being invoiced appropriately with regular (quarterly) audits of Rosters and Invoice Amounts Ensure appropriate reports are completed and sent to clients in a timely mannerWe are open to candidates of varied backgrounds, who can demonstrate the following skills / experience / aptitudes:
High standard of personal presentation and conduct Strength and purpose of character To act professionally, with integrity and in accordance with stipulated guidelines, policies and procedures Ability to use own initiative and experience to achieve and maintain maximum efficiency and productivity Data entry, computer skills including a high level of proficiency with the MS Office suite of packages including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc. Knowledge of, or ability to interpret and apply industrial awards and agreements Knowledge of Securecorp systems, particularly UKG Knowledge and experience in resource and or logistics co-ordination Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills Ability to cope with a dynamic work environment and work in an organised manner to work on multiple tasks with stipulated deadlines Ability to make independent informed decisions Strong planning and problem-solving mindset Hold a current VIC Security / Security Advisers Licence or ability to obtain highly regardedWhat can Securecorp offer in return?

Client Relations (within Portfolio)
Maintain regular pro-active contact with clients including face to face meetings Manage complaints and/or performance issues Optimise relationships by ensuring both parties are meeting contractual obligations Provide innovative and cost-effective solutions to issues Provide quotations for services to new and existing clients Ensure all clients are being invoiced appropriately with regular (quarterly) audits of Rosters and Invoice Amounts Ensure appropriate reports are completed and sent to clients in a timely mannerTraining & Uniforms
Ensure onboarding process is followed. Ensure induction, on the job training and ongoing training is provided to Security Officers within your portfolio Ensure on the job training is completed in line with any safety, company or client requirements Site attendance and review of staff to ensure training is complete and staff member is suitable for location Introduction and education to staff regarding use of UKG system prior to deployment Ensure Security Officers are properly equipped to complete their duties. Equipment to include but not limited to PPE, keys/access cards, identification, crowd control numbers & registers, etc. Identify and make recommendation for improvements to overall standards within the business Monitoring uniform supply including storage at Head Office as well as ordering new uniforms within budgetary requirementsCompliance
Ensure SOPs, relevant policies and procedures are current and maintained through regular auditing Regularly audit rosters to ensure compliance, no excessive hours/days and no excessive overtime being worked Maintain Training, Licencing and RTW Matrix Ensure all reporting systems are recording and reporting accurate information Ensuring all staff are entered into UKG prior to commencing duties and once compliance checks (inc. licencing, Right to Work, etc.) are completed Updating of staff credentials as and when required which will include contacting staff when licence or accreditation details have expiredWorkforce Management
Understanding of UKG system for staff management, i.e. availability updates, training records etc. Maintenance of database and communication with required teams to ensure rostering and ongoing tasks are actioned Oversee workforce in your portfolio to minimise excessive hours and overtime Ensure appropriate staffing levels for any additional hours that may arise in your portfolio Ensure rosters and timesheets within your portfolio are updating accurately for Payroll purposes Recruit and induct within your portfolio in line with company standards Managing performance of staff. Initiating and coordinating the company disciplinary process when required Effectively coach and mentor staff regarding their role in delivering compliant outcomes Ensure all staff in your portfolio are properly trained, and training database/matrix is properly maintained Staff Supervision to include but not limited to; Complete regular Site Inspections of Security Officers, including after hours and weekends, to ensure staff and client compliance to SOP’s and instructions Regular staff meetings Ensure Supervisors are appropriately trained and empowered to make effective decisions after hours-
