How will I help?
Reporting into the Head of Business Lending Operations, we have an opportunity for an Executive Manager, Originations to join our Business Lending Operations team. You will lead the teams responsible for delivering operational outcomes, drive process improvements, leverage automation opportunities, provide meaningful solutions to challenges and build a highly engaged, motivated workforce. The Executive Manager (EM) is a senior member of the BLO LT and key business partner to Business Banking. You will be accountable for developing strong partnerships to deliver on aligned strategic outcomes.
- Be accountable for Originations as part of the overall end-to-end Business Lending Operations process.
- Transform the customer experience through the implementation of strategic programs and providing expert guidance with an end-to-end customer viewpoint.
- Be accountable for the effective management and delivery of operational services within the portfolio and people related matters including overall management of resourcing needs.
- Have an acute awareness of the associated business processes and how they may impact the product areas within the portfolio.
- Help deliver strong results to our shareholders through improved customer experience, issue resolution, continuous improvement, opportunity identification, and sound management of risks and controls.
- Strive for true customer excellence – delivering great customer outcomes, continually challenging and improving processes, managing risk and meeting financial commitments, while constantly developing and inspiring your people.
- Optimise business performance through objective setting, performance monitoring, coaching and people development to maximise growth and potential.

What do I need?
- Demonstrated experience in a similar business lending operations role within banking is essential
- Strong customer and service level focus.
- Proven experience in leading and managing operational teams across functions to deliver exceptional customer outcomes
- Strong strategic thinking, relationship building and influencing skills.
- Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills.
- Technical aptitude and ability to harness technology and digital banking processes.
- Significant and demonstrable experience developing and implementing operations strategy and developing the case for critical initiative funding.
- Experience in leading transition of processes and people to and from outsourced providers, managing outsourced business partnerships and managing flexible and agile workforces.
- Experience leading complex project, change initiatives and competing stakeholder interests.
- Significant and demonstrable experience and knowledge in banking and finance industry & products as well as the regulatory, financial and operational risk environment.
