About the team
Working collaboratively with the team Director and Senior Managers within the Partner Services team, you will be responsible for providing our partners and retired partners a mixture of accounting, advisory and tax services.
About the role
You will need to be able to liaise directly with the partners and retired partners, review year-end financial statements and tax returns, review completed BAS / IAS, identify and solve tax compliance issues and identify and discuss year-end tax planning opportunities, provide general assistance to partners and retired partners as and when required and collaborate with internal stakeholders. You need to have the ability to analyse, interpret and communicate financial information to the partners and retired partners.
You will also be required to manage a team supporting you to provide these services.
This is a pivotal role that requires confidentiality, professionalism and integrity and someone who can build rapport and trust with the owners of the business.
Key responsibilities
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements and income tax returns.
- Preparing and reviewing Business Activity Statements and Income Activity Statements.
- Assisting with year-end tax planning and compliance.
- Providing team members with ‘on the job’ training.
- Preparation and delivery of performance reviews for any direct reports.
Who we’re after

- CA or CPA qualified accountant with various years’ experience working in a professional service firm.
- Commitment to confidentiality; and
- Due to the fast paced environment, you show strong planning and organisational skills.
