We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join a global organisation within the mining and heavy machinery industry. This role is integral to driving people strategies and operational excellence across both blue-collar and white-collar teams.

About the Role

In this position, you'll play a key part in supporting employee lifecycle processes, providing HR advisory services, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. You'll partner with leaders to implement HR strategies while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive global HR processes, including HR Operations, Talent Management, and Performance Management.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations, succession planning, and engagement initiatives.
  • Manage employee grievances and disciplinary processes, ensuring professionalism and compliance.
  • Collaborate with unions and support collective bargaining agreements where applicable.
  • Continuously improve HR operations through innovation, process reviews, and automation opportunities.
  • Monitor and enhance KPIs, SLAs, and overall HR service delivery.
  • Administer employee benefits and assist with enrollments and queries.

About You

  • Proven HR Generalist or Business Partner experience, ideally in a global, matrixed environment.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws, particularly in the [insert relevant region/country].
  • Expertise in managing blue-collar workforce talent activities.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field (HR certifications preferred).
  • Advanced English communication skills and experience with Workday or similar HRIS systems.
