Who we’re looking for:

We’re looking for an experienced proposals professional to join our high performing Constructions QLD pre-contracts team based at the Port of Brisbane. You will develop and implement strategies and win themes through written content which effectively communicates BMD’s proven capability. Dedicated to meeting deadlines, you will facilitate and lead discussions and apply your skills to:

  • Work to a standard of excellence producing high quality, fully compliant and professional expressions of interest and tender documentation
  • Turn technical information into digestible key messages, ensuring all content communicates BMD’s value proposition
  • Develop frameworks and schedules to guide the bid team, ensuring documentation is completed to lodgement timeframes
  • Work collaboratively with others at all levels across our diverse workforce, and with joint venture and other partners
  • Act as a knowledge expert, keeping relevant information up to date

The successful candidate will be a self-starter with:

  • A tertiary qualification in public relations, communications, marketing or similar (highly desirable)
  • Minimum 8+ years’ experience working in a similar role across the civil construction or related industry.
