Sydney, Australia Hogarth Full time

Hogarth is the Global Content Experience Company. Part of WPP, Hogarth partners with one in every two of the world's top 100 brands including Coca-Cola, Ford, Rolex, Nestlé, Mondelez and Dyson. With a breadth of experience across an extensive range of sectors, Hogarth offers the unrivaled ability to deliver relevant, engaging, and measurable content across all channels and media - both established and emerging.

The number of channels at our fingertips; the need for speed; and the drive for mass personalisation, all mean that brands need different solutions.

Our global team of over 6,000 craft and technology experts brings together creative, production and innovation to help clients navigate this exciting and ever-changing world of today's content experience.

About the Role:

The Content Management team at Hogarth is responsible for publishing creative assets, experiences, and critical digital content to our client's network of websites and other platforms and apps across the globe. The Content Manager works closely with both the Content Management team and external teams to ensure all client interactive deliverables are completed accurately and on time. This includes ownership of the content management and publishing operations in support of our client's product launches and other digital marketing programs, including setting up and managing page structure and content in a CMS (content management system).

Core responsibilities of a Content Manager include day-to-day content management tasks, cross-functional collaboration across the client's Marcom team, leading projects or initiatives from the content management perspective, and maintaining full knowledge of an ever-changing set of tools and processes.

Please note: This is a role focused on high quality, fast-paced content production and publishing, requiring strong experience in content management tools and processes. It does not have content creation, design, or marketing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive daily and weekly programming instructions from client business units. Instructions are received via client's internal tools including Radar, Pitch, and Quip with other tools to possibly develop in future
  • Complete programming per instructions and to required deadlines. Programming requires the use of client owned tools including DJ, Rubicon, and Conductor, with other tools possibly used in future
  • Complete publishing preview and build requests via standard weekly store turn and daily "mini" refresh process
  • Review and flag error messages that will be addressed by internal client teams, tracking required corrections to completion
  • Raise support and engineering tickets for errors that cannot be resolved directly
  • Coordination with internal client teams on monthly promotional plans to ensure conflicts are avoided with global and local programming requests
  • Contribute innovative ideas and feedback regarding processes, workflows, and tools
  • Reporting on total workload, issues and trends

About you:

  • Relevant experience working on website content & production teams
  • Experience with localisation and managing content for a global audience, using a multi-layered CMS
  • Deep knowledge of how content management and other related system processes work
  • Experience working on Adobe AEM platforms
  • Proven capability in troubleshooting and diagnosing CMS issues, and communicating those issues to both technical and non-technical personnel
  • Demonstrated experience contributing to business process improvement and re-engineering of processes
  • Proven ability to manage ambiguity effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to work with others in an unpredictable environment
  • Flexible personality and schedule to deal with rapidly-changing, time-constrained launch schedules
  • Confident in managing a high degree of ownership and accountability for own work
  • Ability to balance multiple project or assignments
  • Highly detail-oriented, organised, and patient
  • Able to support on an adhoc basis out of hours content updates (time managed in coordination with global Management team)

Desirable

  • A passion for music, in all its genres
  • Experience includes working with a git client application (Tower, SourceTree, etc.)
  • Experience creating/managing internal tools a plus
  • Knowledge of HTML, XML, JSON, and enterprise CMS

Diversity & Inclusion

Hogarth is an equal-opportunity employer. That means we believe in creating a truly inclusive culture that values diversity, equity and inclusion for everyone through our ideas, our people, how we behave and how we conduct ourselves. We strive to recruit people from diverse backgrounds and support them to achieve long-term success. This not only makes Hogarth a better company and place to work, but an environment where everyone can give their point of view, experience connection, enjoy opportunity and feel a sense of belonging.

We welcome applications from everyone, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion or belief, gender, gender identity, age, national origin, marital status, military veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation, or physical or mental disability. As part of our commitment to making our hiring processes as equitable as possible, we are currently rolling out a policy which ensures that hiring managers review CVs only after they have been processed through an automated anonymisation system. This aims to ensure that all candidates are considered for interview based solely on their experience and what they can bring to the role. The solution, provided by MeVitae, scans and redacts CVs to reduce potential reviewer bias.
