**About UTS**
We are excited to partner with UTS and their Advancement team to help recruit a Digital Content Manager.
The role of the UTS Advancement Unit (AU) is to build philanthropic support for the university’s strategic priorities through sustained and mutually beneficial relationships with individuals, the community, corporates, trusts and foundations. Additionally, the AU is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with over 260,000 alumni of UTS through a program of publications, communications, events and services.
**About the Role**
This role is responsible for maintaining the professional image of the Advancement Unit to both internal and external clients through the overall management of the Advancement digital platforms and other digital communications sent on behalf of UTS stakeholders.
The position will also contribute to the development and delivery of a digital communication strategy that supports the engagement of the unit with its key audiences: alumni, donors, friends and other members of the UTS community.
**In the role you will be responsible for;**
- Digital platform management and mass communication - manage the timely placement of content and updates of the UTS Advancement webpages
- Project manage the development of sub-sites and special projects by assisting internal web stakeholders in project formulation and the definition of site objectives, development of parameters
- Manage the execution of web content in multiple CMS platforms, including but limited to Drupal and Blackbaud NetCommunity
- Liaise with staff across the university to advise and discuss the development of digital communications to alumni
- Use data to inform decision making processes for digital communication channels. Make recommendations for continual improvement for the best user experience
- Maintain knowledge of emerging digital technologies and trends in order to advise and assist in the implementation of the technical requirements including advice on possible hardware and software acquisitions
**A bit about you**
To have success in the role you will have strong coding skills including HTML and CSS, strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, you should have;
- Relevant degree or a minimum of three years’ experience in interactive media communications, Information technology or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience in the management of digital communication channels
- Experience and knowledge in web strategy, design and technology supported by a demonstrable interest in emerging technology and an ability to identify future trends
- An inquisitive nature with a strong sense of initiative and passion for innovation and continuous improvement
