Position: ICU Nurse (Critical Care) Location: Melbourne, VIC Type: Full-Time

About the Role: As an ICU Nurse, you will be at the forefront of providing expert care to critically ill patients. You’ll work in a dynamic and highly specialized environment where your clinical expertise and compassionate care will make a significant difference in the lives of patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Critical Care: Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Assessment: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop care plans, and monitor progress.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and specialists, to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Education: Provide patient and family education on care, treatment plans, and post-discharge instructions.
  • Advocacy: Serve as an advocate for patients, ensuring their needs and preferences are addressed.
  • Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond swiftly and effectively to critical situations.

Qualifications:

  • Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • Post Graduate Certificate in ICU/Critical Care Nursing.
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate experience in an ICU/Critical Care setting.
  • Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
