About the role

This is a fantastic role for a Platform Architect with strong leadership skills to lead the strategy of the ServiceNow platform, supporting major projects of work across a large variety of initiatives. You will be responsible for designing high level and detailed solutions for the ServiceNow platform to support Suncorp's business operations and objectives.

Your strong communication skills will be key in enabling you to lead conversations and drive outcomes, providing engineering leadership to project and platform teams. You will be highly collaborative, regularly engaging with business analysts, developers, and project managers to gather requirements, identify process improvements, and provide technical solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ServiceNow development and a passion for staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends.

What you’ll do:

  • Establish an enterprise-wide technical architecture and implementation strategy setting the foundation for enduring success.
  • Drive standardisation and best practice platform management, enabling you to focus on value delivery.
  • Institute technical governance to optimise platform performance and minimise long-term technical risk.
  • Enable rapid upgrades to new features and innovation that drive new value.
  • Work with the Platform Delivery Manager to build a platform team focused on delivering value and innovation.​​​​​ 

What you’ll bring:

Essential:

  • 5+ years ServiceNow development
  • ​2+ years ServiceNow solution design
  • ServiceNow CSA Certification
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and business stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience partnering with multiple delivery partners and vendors on achieving business objectives.
  • A team player with a high level of accountability and a proactive attitude towards getting things done.

Desired:

  • 1+ year ServiceNow architect experience
  • ServiceNow CMA certification
  • Tertiary qualifications in business or related field
