THE COMPANY
We are partnering with a company in the legal space within the Victorian government sector. 

THE ROLE
As a Project Manager, you will be overall responsible for managing the work to improve foundations of data governance and informing and overseeing data controls and data remediations work. 

  • You will be leading development of various project plans, including scope, resources, objectives and much more.
  • Providing support to various project teams, delivering end to end experience for users across functions.
  • You will be responsible for establishing and supporting project governance to support the delivery of the specified project stream.
  • Working towards Agile project management (mentor other staff in agile).
  • You will be responsible for overseeing and working with SMEs and stakeholders.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of the project is on track and providing project reporting. 

ABOUT YOU
You will already be a Project Manager and ideally have experience across the public sector in large enterprise environments. You will also have:

  • Proven experience across project management, you must have experience across data projects.
  • Strong experience across the data life cycle management, including data mapping, architecture, governance, data quality and more.
  • You will have strong interpersonal skills and be able to build on existing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Proven experience managing a team and budget from time to time.
  • Ideally you will have government experience and experience across the legal domain.
