What you’ll be doing:

This role will serve as a change agent within the Training and Standards division, driving the transformation of the team into a high-performing unit. Its primary responsibility will be to lead the transformation efforts, working towards the development of strategies and systems aimed at enhancing safety and efficiency outcomes for both domestic and international flying operations. The objective is not only to ensure compliance with CASA’s legislative requirements for Check and Training Systems but also to position the division as a best in class entity.

You’ll be great in this role if you:

  • A proven track record of effective leadership in Flight Operations & Flight Training.
  • Have appropriate qualifications in flying and training operations to hold the position of Head of Training and Checking as required by CASA legislation.
  • Organisational change management experience
  • Knowledge of appropriate regulatory frameworks including both Australian and applicable/comparable legislation under the FAA or EASA
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills
  • Excellent teamwork skills as part of the Flight Operations Leadership Team.
