Group-wide Company: MUCHOOverview: Mucho's Head of People and Culture is responsible for overseeing the employment lifecycle for all team members including recruitment, onboarding, , training and development, and compliance with labour laws and regulations.

This role requires a diligent and strategic approach to building the best teams in our venues as well as strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to fostering a diverse workplace culture where people are excited to come to work.


Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Onboarding: Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.
Coordinate new employee onboarding, including orientation sessions and the completion of required paperwork.
Develop and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies and other sources of talent.

Employee Relations:

Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances, and provide guidance and support as needed.

Conduct investigations into employee complaints and issues, and take appropriate action to address and resolve them.
Promote a positive work culture and employee engagement through effective communication and relationship-building activities.

Performance Management:
Manage performance appraisal processes to evaluate employee performance and provide feedback for improvement.
Identify training and development needs based on performance evaluations and career goals.
Work with venue managers to develop performance improvement plans and support employee development.

Training and Development:
Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
Identify training needs and priorities based on business objectives and employee feedback.
Coordinate with external training providers as needed to deliver specialised training programs.

Compliance and Policy Administration:
Ensure compliance with Fairwork regulations and company policies.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and regulations, and make recommendations for policy updates as needed.

Administer employee benefits programs, Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources 5 years generalist experience in human resources, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Up to date knowledge of Australian employment laws and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
