The Training Support Specialist is responsible to the Training Support Capability Lead to support the design, development, implementation and evaluation of training for SSC.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure the development, review and continual improvement of Sustainment training products and related documentation
  • Establish the development, maintenance and management of LMS/LCMS products
    • Oversee training schedule for all levels of training requirements
    • Course training
    • Compliance training Recertification / Certification
  • Review and maintain Sustainment training documentation
  • Evaluate vendor products and coordinate with external training providers for essential / desirable training events

About you:

  • Experience with Sharepoint
  • Significant practical experience with all facets of the ADDIE learning development model

Any experience with one or more of the following is highly desirable:

  • Excellent knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Learning Content Management Systems (LCMS)
  • Significant experience with traditional and modern job training methods and techniques
  • Substantial experience with e-learning platforms
  • Significant experience in a military training environment

Special Requirements:

Role can be based in Mawson Lakes OR our CBD Office.

Applicants must be Australian Citizens and are required to hold and maintain AGSVAR security clearance at the required level. 

International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable and as such, your citizenship (including dual citizenship) may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
