Lighting and Control System Designer

Working Hours: 8am-5pm EST, Monday – Friday (8 PM – 5 AM, Monday – Friday PH time)

We are seeking a Lighting and Control System Designer with a strong background in designing and integrating lighting and control systems for residential and commercial projects. While expertise in Lutron Designer and D-Tools System Integrator is not required, a willingness to learn and adapt to these tools is essential, and training will be provided. Proficiency in AutoCAD is a plus. This role demands a blend of technical knowledge, creativity, and project management skills to deliver top-notch solutions that meet client needs and industry standards.

Qualifications:
 
  • Has a relevant experience for at least 1-2 years
  • Understanding of engineering principles, especially in low-voltage systems
  • Has experience in 2D design
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Analytical thinking for system integration
  • Has an understanding of technical drawings and documentation
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in design
  • Effective communication and collaboration with internal teams
  • Has Computer and technology skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel , Word, Visio
  • Willingness to learn new software tools (Lutron Designer, D-Tools System Integrator)
  • Flexibility to work overlapping hours with Eastern Time during training
Optional skills:
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Familiarity with home automation systems
  • Electrical engineering background
  • Experience in construction engineering
