Why Your Role Matters
:The School of Science is one of six schools at UNSW Canberra and consists of six disciplines Aviation, Chemistry, Geography, Mathematics, Physics and Oceanography and has an exciting opportunity for you to join our school as the Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor in Stratospheric Physics.
In this dynamic role, you will assume the position of Station Director at the Balloon Launching Station in Alice Springs NT, working with stakeholders from CSIRO, NASA and other space agencies. The stratospheric balloon flights take place periodically from the site. This position blends research and education, where you’ll contribute to course and curriculum delivery and cultivate a vibrant research portfolio. As a key player, you’ll craft publication, guide students and drive grant applications while embracing opportunities to make meaningful contributions in both academia and research.
