The School of Science is one of six schools at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) Canberra, and it has an exciting opportunity for you to join our school as the Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor in Stratospheric Physics.
This role combines research and education, where you will contribute to course and curriculum delivery, cultivate a vibrant research portfolio, and drive grant applications. As a key player, you will craft publications, guide students, and make meaningful contributions in both academia and research.
Key Requirements:
- A PhD in a related discipline or relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in Atmospheric physics, electronics, and stratospheric ballooning.
- Proven commitment to staying up-to-date with discipline knowledge and developments.
- Ability to manage large-scale projects, including contract negotiations, tender evaluations, risk, and budget plans.
- An Associate Professor (Level D) plays a key role in leading and advancing outstanding research at national and international levels.
