The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria’s largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, sub-acute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community based facilities. We are also a proud part of the world renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.

We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Microbiology team. This is a full time, 12 month position working in the Microbiology Department which includes bacteriology, infectious serology and molecular microbiology.

Your new role:

Broaden your skills working in all areas of the microbiology department including bacteriology, serology and molecular biology. Support quality improvement by participating in the development and implementation of new tests and methods. Participate in our weekend, evening and night shift roster.

About You:

You have experience in a clinical diagnostic Microbiology laboratory. You work well in a multidisciplinary team environment. You demonstrate a professional approach to patient care, confidentiality and efficient service provision.
