Position Summary:

As a Business Analyst you will be working with clients as part of a broader project team to support the design and delivery of systems. Utilising principles of design thinking you will work to deliver tailored products and services to meet the client's broader goals. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with business SME's, IT and project teams to analyse business requirements to understand business needs
  • Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to elicit requirements and document functional and non funtional requirements
  • Apply Service Design principals to ensure the development of user friendly solutions
  • Support the functioning of an Agile delivery team to ensure processes and methods match business needs
  • Develop process maps with as-is and to-be process analysis
  • Support project team across a range of ad hoc tasks 

Education Requirements:

  Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree (Accounting or Information Technology);

Desirable

  • Business Analysis Agile certification (AgileBA, BABOK Agile or other)

Demonstrated Experience & Attributes

  Essential

  • 3 plus years in similar role
  • NV1 Security Clearance or ability to secure clearance
  • Knowledge and understanding of SDLC and other Agile priciples
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Understanding of Service Design principles

Desirable:

  • Proficiency in MS Suite, particularly Visio
  • Consulting experience within federal government is a major advantage
