The Opportunity:

We have a rare opportunity for an experienced Facilities Manager to join our team The individual that we are looking for has a strong commercial acumen to oversee facility maintenance and compliance across Queensland.

Key responsibilities include conducting asset maintenance to safety and regulatory standards, performing regular building audits, and managing site security and access.

You'll also collaborate with stakeholders to ensure licensing requirements are met and implement waste management programs.

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Facilities role with a large company
  • Knowledge of facilities infrastructure (water, sewerage, plumbing, electrical)
  • Strong ability to prepare professional reports and assess costs
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with building code requirements and tenders
  • Awareness of emergency service requirements and safety regulations
  • Understanding of work site traffic management, site security, and yard supervision
  • Experience with maintenance across multiple locations
