About the Role:

We’re looking for an all-rounder Finance Officer to join our team for 25 hours per week, spread across 5 days. You’ll have the flexibility to start and finish between 8am and 5pm, making it easy to fit around school pick-ups or other commitments. Based in our Mermaid Beach office, you’ll play a key role in managing a variety of financial tasks, contributing to the success of Australia's largest privately-owned occupational health business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing and setup of new customers.
  • Handle reconciliation and accounts payable functions.
  • Communicate with clients via phone and email, responding to queries and following up payments.
  • Create customer financial reports.
  • Perform data entry and process payments.
  • Assist the finance team with other administrative and finance-related tasks.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Certificate III in Accounts Administration or similar qualification and/or 2+ years’ experience in a similar account’s role within a medium-sized organization.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • IT Savvy, Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel, V lookups would be an asset
