The Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Management Team, where you'll leverage your strategic and operational expertise to shape and oversee the QLD region.
As the Regional Manager, you will report directly to the National Operations Manager in Melbourne.
Your main responsibilities will include leading a dynamic team, driving project success, and ensuring top-tier client delivery. This role offers a chance to make a significant impact and contribute to the growth of our organization.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the state’s project operations, workforce, and client relationships, ensuring revenue targets are consistently met or surpassed.
  • Recruit, train, and support the General Manager, conducting regular performance appraisals to foster growth and development.
  • Implement and execute comprehensive business marketing and advertising strategies.
  • Manage contractors to ensure timely delivery, high-quality work, adherence to schedules, and accurate invoicing.
  • Oversee project P&L, finance, cost budgets, variations, resource utilization, and compliance with project KPIs to ensure successful delivery.
  • Drive and manage planning approvals for consent activities, alternative sites, and site upgrades, ensuring compliance with Deployment Code, DA’s, and other relevant planning consents while maintaining regulatory and quality standards.
  • Act in accordance with Occupational Health & Safety legislation and uphold the company’s Occupational Health & Safety responsibilities.

The successful candidate will have the following experience and skills:  

  • A Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and project management tools.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities, along with multitasking prowess and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of proven experience and success in a similar role within the telecommunications industry.
  • Deep understanding of the company’s business model and industry, using this knowledge to provide an independent perspective and constructively challenge the team, ensuring business decisions are grounded in solid financial criteria.
