Due to ongoing growth in the business, they are looking for a skilled Trades Assistant to join their team.

The Position...
A position exists for a motivated Trades Assistant to join the Service Department, based in their Acacia Ridge workshop. This is a great opportunity with a large, stable, and reputable organisation.

This role will be responsible for a range of tasks from accessory fitting to condition reports, with attention to detail to meet customers’ desires and expectations. The ideal candidate will have previous experience or exposure to mechanical and basic auto electrical work, as well as basic fabrication.

Additional duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Record keeping and job accountability
  • Touch up paint work on fittings and accessories
  • Checking all service points, lubrication levels, operation controls
  • Washing and cleaning machines
  • Working to deadlines 

The Ideal Candidate…

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Capability to learn the trade quickly
  • Previous experience with construction machinery (advantageous)
  • Current car license
  • Forklift license (advantageous)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Good mechanical aptitude
  • High attention to detail
  • Motivated and have the desire to perform their best
  • Excellent time management skills
