Purpose of Role: Our sales role provide high standards of customer-facing/sales to key sites to support and grow Weir Motion Metrics market share.  This role’s primary focus is to identify and capture new sales opportunities to grow market share, part of this cycle is to work with potential clients and help them understand the value of the Motion Metrics products in their business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Growth: Possess thorough knowledge of all Weir Motion Metrics product offerings to be positioned as a ‘trusted advisor’ is our customers. Provide equal attention to established customers as to growing new business.
  • Strategy: Develop strategies to penetrate assigned accounts, initiate new business and grow existing business through team and individual selling efforts.
  • Customer support: Provide world-class customer and product support in capital products and aftermarket wear solutions with a high level of professionalism. Prepare high-level correspondence and quality tender responses and manage contractual processes as per company policy.
  • Service: Perform onsite and workshop-based inspections and providing technical advice to optimize ESCO product performance. Demonstrate a strong degree of mechanical aptitude.
  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Mining) or similar technical knowledge to support the business (mandatory)
  • Proven network of mining site contacts with the ability to formulate product proposals highlighting product features and benefits to acquire new business as required (mandatory)
  • Interest towards mining technology
  • You will be equally comfortable working autonomously as well as with a team, working through a period of growth.
