The purpose of this crucial Natural Perils Senior Pricing Analyst role is to develop natural perils pricing infrastructure, and to conduct research on innovative data and methods to price and manage natural peril risks.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Develop pricing, geospatial, and monitoring infrastructure for natural perils pricing and portfolio management Apply research and use innovative pricing methods and environmental data to pricing natural perils across all insurance lines of business Use catastrophe models for pricing concentration risk, net cost of reinsurance, and understanding of customer and community resilience Develop solutions for wider distribution and use of natural peril catastrophe models Work with other teams in the group to research and recommend ways of improving customer and community resilience.

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 3 years of working experience in an insurance analytical role, experience in natural perils is strongly preferred Product and pricing knowledge Strong understanding of natural perils Strong analytical skills using SAS, R, Python, Excel, and relational databases, such as SQL, PostGIS Knowledge and experience in other programming languages such as Python, R is advantageous.
