About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Service Introduction Solution Architect to join our team. This role is pivotal in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and innovative solutions to meet our clients' needs. As a Service Introduction Solution Architect, you will leverage your expertise in infrastructure management, cloud architectures, and DevOps practices to deliver outstanding solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to ensure smooth service transitions and effective solution implementations.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement scalable and secure architectures based on client requirements.
  • Provide expertise in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud platforms, including automation, scripting, and DevOps practices.
  • Support the development of pricing models, Statements of Work, and provide input to commercial and legal teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring solutions align with security architectures and policies.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and internal teams, focusing on delivering superior service outcomes.
  • Contribute to the execution of infrastructure outsourcing transitions and manage cloud and data center services.

Essential Criteria:

  • Azure Certified Solution Architect (Professional/Expert) Level certification is required.
  • Strong solutioning skills in infrastructure management services.
  • Excellent customer-service focus and ability to work in geographically dispersed teams.
  • Proven ability to gather requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to challenges.
  • Experience in IT project delivery and solution architecture.
  • Proficient in automation and scripting tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins or GitLab.
  • Knowledge of security architectures and reference standards.
  • Understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, as well as microservices architecture and design principles.

Education and Experience:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Studies, or Engineering with a focus on Information Technology.
  • Extensiveof experience in IT, including a number of years as a Solution Architect.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud architectures and DevOps CI/CD tools.
  • Knowledge of serverless computing, event-driven architectures, and storage integration technologies.
  • Experience with ITIL v3 Service Management and managed security services is highly regarded.

Preferred Certifications (Not mandatory):

  • Other cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
  • Virtualization certifications (e.g., VMware VCP-DCV).
  • Certifications in storage and compute technologies.
