About the Role:
The Enterprise Architect will provide strategic leadership and advisory services to develop and implement solutions aligned to the company's blueprints and roadmaps that deliver a cost-effective target business state and optimized business value delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and orchestrate application and information solution architecture activities and deliverables to meet the demands and expectations of the business unit.
- Ensure solutions are aligned to enterprise-wide blueprints and roadmaps/future states.
- Manage the architectural impacts of business change.
- Recommend solutions that improve cost effectiveness and flexibility of the portfolio.
- Provide thought leadership on solution architecture, specifically within the application and information domain, and foster an environment of continuous improvement within IT and the business unit.
- Review, provide analysis, position, and response to technical papers as requested by the Chief Architect or Enterprise Architects.
- Provide expert guidance to delivery teams.
Requirements:
- Tertiary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent years of experience in the field.
- Demonstrated experience delivering successful solution architectures in large-scale environments/enterprises.
- Experience with modern cloud architecture and data platforms (AWS, Databricks, etc).
- Architecture experience in financial and/or energy markets.
- Excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving ability.
- Solid presentation development and delivery skills with the ability to communicate with a variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- The ability to translate technical information into an easily digestible form.
