The Role                                                                                   

At Infinite Aged Care, Housekeeping Assistants play a critical role in providing quality housekeeping and cleaning services which focus on infection control and ensure a safe and healthy living environment for residents. You will be cleaning of individual rooms, common areas, walkways, outdoors areas, reception / admin areas, kitchens, dining halls, entertainment rooms. and common areas as well as a providing laundry services and generally ensuring that residents daily needs are met. You will be paid as per the Aged Care industry awards with a range of employee benefits that you will enjoy above your fortnightly pay.

About You

At Infinite Care, we hire on attitude and a caring heart, so you DO NOT need experience in the aged care sector, you do need to be a great team player, someone who is capable to carry out their daily duties safety without any harm to yourself or others but more so a commitment to resident wellbeing as well as the following,

  • Demonstrated cleaning experience is essential to deliver the cleaning & laundry outcomes daily
  • Ability to follow set daily, weekly and monthly checklists including deep cleans procedures as directed.
  • Ability to work with cleaning and laundry chemicals, storage and avoid any safety issues with spillage or fumes from using chemicals.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team with pace to get through the checklists.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with our residents.
  • Hard working, flexible with good availability to carry out the housekeeping duties.
  • Adopt a safety-first approach to daily tasks and supporting colleagues at all times.
