About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Public Area Cleaner to join our Housekeeping team at Mantra & The Sebel Twin Towns Hotel & Apartments. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout our public areas, including the pool, gym, and shared bathrooms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all public areas are clean and well-maintained, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness and presentation
  • Collaborate with room attendants to support with room cleaning and linen removal as needed
  • Operate specialized equipment and chemicals safely and efficiently
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to guest inquiries and security matters in a professional and courteous manner
  • Act as a liaison between departments, reporting any maintenance issues or concerns promptly

Requirements and Skills

  • Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues
  • Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently, managing time well and taking pride in tasks
  • Adaptability and physical fitness to work in various environments, including staircases and uncovered areas
  • Ability to work a flexible rotating schedule, including nights, overnights, weekends, and public holidays as required
