About the Role

Reporting to the Central Operations Manager – Supply Chain, the DC Operations Project Lead will support and implement defined projects that support a safe and efficient working environment for all DC Operations across Australia and New Zealand.

In this role, your main responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Participating in defining and scoping safety initiatives with the Group Safety team and executing safety initiatives and projects.
  • Providing advice as well as clear guidelines, time frames and progress tracking to implement and embed a program of defined safety initiatives in conjunction with Group Safety.
  • Aligning with Group Safety and Operational leadership teams on the implementation, overall delivery and communication of safety-based project initiatives.
  • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

About you

We are looking for a strong project coordinator with a good understanding of Safety and has excellent stakeholder management skills.

In addition, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience working on safety program implementation in an environment with large and complex operational risk and safety requirement
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities
  • Good analytical skills (including using MS Excel) with a keen attention to detail
  • Experience working in retail or similar industries where Safety is a priority such as FMCG, manufacturing, utilities, construction, etc.
  • Any Certifications in Safety or Project Management will be regarded.

Your highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and strong customer focus will be key to this role.
