: The School Cleaning Service is a dynamic, supportive team responsible for the delivery of school cleaning across all ACT Government schools. This includes managing the school cleaning workforce (recruitment, contract management, rostering, procuring cleaning equipment and supplies, implementing site specific cleaning, coordinating cleaning for community hire of school facilities).The role will include a variety of administrative requirements across School Cleaning Services, including within the people management team, rostering team procurement processes and financial management as well as across other administrative needs within School Cleaning Services to support business needs as directed.
School Cleaning Services are looking for an experienced Administrative/HR officer to support a variety of processes within the School Cleaning Service.

Eligibility/Other requirements:
Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) - Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required. For further information on Working with Vulnerable People registration refer to - . Experience using workforce management systems, such as UKG (previously Kronos) is desirable.Notes:
This is a temporary position available immediately for a period of 12 months with the possibility of permanency. A merit pool will be established for this selection process. This position may be assessed on application and referee reports only. This position is in a workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers do not have a designated workstation/desk.
