The Opportunity:

Skills and Experience needed:

  • Strong experience in industrial/employee relations including specialist expertise in employment law
  • Experience in negotiating Enterprise Agreements and contractual terminology
  • Experience with determining Enterprise Agreement and legislative requirements for complex payroll systems
  • Experience with engaging Unions
  • Big picture thinking, ability to think broadly and innovatively with the ability to create (and execute) detailed plans
  • Commercial thinking - understanding of HR strategic levers and how they drive business outcomes
  • Change management expertise
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritise
  • Ability to be "on the tools" and get involved with various matters across the business
  • A minimum of 6 years' experience
  • The ability to understand and adapt to the needs of the business
  • A current practising certificate not essential
  • Applicants must have the right to live and work in Australia
