Personal Care Worker

Our Personal Care Workers provide assistance to our Home Care clients in their home as well as the Cottage Respite clients, ensuring they are supported with services and activities that are centred around their health, happiness, independence, interests and choices.
We are looking to build our team with a variety of shifts on offer at our Cottage respite Centre in Geraldton. The roles available are part time permanent with shifts across 07:00am to 14:00pm, 14:00pm to 21:00pm or 21:00pm to 07:00am, enabling you to find a schedule that works for you. Ideally, we are also looking for availability across the weekend (Saturday and Sunday).
About the role
- Personal care such as meal preparation, medication assistance and some domestic work
- Assistance to continue to live well and positively (e.g. transport to appointments, help at home)
- Engaging in social activities
- Variety of daytime and overnight shifts
- Variety of centre based day respite shifts
- Variety of in home/community shifts

To be successful, you will have:
- Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support or equivalent
- Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
- Police Check (valid within the last 3 years)
- Willingness to obtain Flu vaccination
- Own vehicle/licence
- Evidence covid 19 vaccinations
- Current First Aid and CPR
