The Role

Work with the Defence and Intelligence (D&I) account teams and relevant vendors to understand and translate customer business and technical requirements and propose solutions

In this role you will:

  • Work closely with D&I Account Executives and Managers across all Lines of Business nationally to maximise business opportunities for Data#3.
  • Drive proposals and responses that provide D&I customers with value solutions through the development of high-level solutions, including the creation of Bill of Materials, Scope of Works, WBS and detailed costings.
  • Maintain deep expertise in selected products, platforms and technologies and maintain certifications as required.
  • Develop and deliver engineering presentations with D&I customers and tailor content to audience as appropriate.
  • Work with partners in crafting and delivering combined solutions as well as work with service delivery teams to ensure a seamless transition from solution architecture to professional services.
  • Engage with Professional Services for reviewing technical and project management requirements for projects
  • Maximise customer satisfaction through the development of trust and credibility
  • Assess and evaluate risk and understand the implications of new technologies

Experience

  • Strong Engineering, Technical, Architecture and Solutioning experience in a customer facing role
  • Demonstrated experience in the assessment and communication of the value of Solutions to clients

Skills

  • Demonstrated skills in developing valued relationships with clients, suppliers, and industry leaders
  • Effective negotiation and problem resolution skills to achieve win/win situation
  • Demonstrated experience in a broad range of field work
  • Ability
  • Ability to present to Federal Government (DI preferred) technical audiences
  • Ability to contribute to the overall goals of the organisation
  • Ability to logically break down and diagnose issues in the DI field of expertise
