An exciting opportunity has become available in our Payroll team.  We are looking for candidates with superior time management skills and attention to detail to efficiently assist with activities associated with end to end payroll processing.

The position would suit someone who has high level customer service and written / verbal communication skills, accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision. Ideally you will enjoy learning and collaborating with different areas of the business including People and Culture. Your day will consist of providing level 1 support for Ables’ client and staff rostering system, including system maintenance, resolving user queries, configuration and maintenance of the award interpreter.  The position is also required to perform finance tasks as requested.

This is a permanent full time position based at our National Office in Surrey Hills.

Skills and experience required to be successful in this role:

  • Payroll or administration qualifications preferred however, not essential
  • 2+ years’ experience in the management of payroll systems and processes
  • Demonstrated knowledge of interpreting Award and Industrial legislation
  • A proactive, professional and customer focused approach with the ability to influence and negotiate effective outcomes with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Effective communication skills in developing and maintaining communication with stakeholders
  • Solid knowledge of finance, business, payroll and rostering software systems, preferably Carelink and Technology One.
