About the team:

The HR team comprises, Reward, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, HR Business Partnering, Learning and Development, HR systems, reporting and operations. The HR team works collaboratively to deliver on our Employee Value Proposition – “creating better futures together”.

About the role:

As the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, you will be partnering with hiring managers and HR team across Challenger Group, building strong and successful relationships to ensure we have the right people in the right roles. You will be the first point of contact for candidates and play a vital role in shaping the candidate experience whilst supporting the business to achieve outcomes.

This role is a great opportunity for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist who is looking to leverage their relationship-building skills and thrives on creating the very best candidate experience. You will have strong influencing skills and be able to provide market trends in the industry. Previous experience recruiting in financial services, investment management or investment banking is highly desirable.

Role Responsibilities:

Proactively support the business to identify, engage and hire market leading talent.Prepare, review, and provide insights on key recruitment metrics.Reduce recruitment agency reliance and diversify how Challenger sources and attracts talent whilst maintaining the quality of hire and time to fill.Meet time frames of the business to deliver key talent against Challenger’s requirements.Continuously improve and streamline recruitment processes to enhance efficiency and quality.Partner, coach, and support hiring managers through the recruitment process.Ensure managers follow our recruitment processes so candidate experience is not compromised.Work collaboratively with the Human Resources team to support the business in recruitment related matters.Train and partner with managers to enhance their recruitment, selection, and onboarding capability.Support and promote the Employee Referral Programme to the business.Contribute to the wider People Team and business initiatives.

Role Requirements:

Significant experience recruiting within Financial Services, Investment Management, or Investment Banking.Proven track record of partnering with the business to improve and manage recruitment and onboarding processes.Strong analytical skills to measure and report on the performance of Challenger’s recruitment and onboarding activity.Excellent judgement, diplomacy, discretion, and initiative.
