About the Opportunity:

As the External Affairs Manager on this 12 month contract, you will play a key role in shaping the company's environment and strategy. Your responsibilities will include liaising with advocacy groups, developing communication strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will take ownership of brands, drive product launches, and manage media inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute communication and advocacy strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medical and market access
  • Work closely with PR agencies to enhance brand visibility
  • Lead product launches and media engagement
  • Shape the healthcare environment for product launch
  • Contribute to strategic internal communications planning
  • Support corporate affairs initiatives across therapeutic areas


Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in environment shaping and/or patient advocacy
  • Experience in corporate affairs, PR, or related fields
  • Strong media engagement and advocacy group experience
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to influence access policy programs
  • Knowledge of the Australian healthcare system and pharmaceutical access environment
  • Effective team collaboration skills
  • Excellent verbal presentation and communication abilities
  • A degree in communications or related field preferred
