Excellent Opportunity
We are looking for a dynamic individual to lead the RAN cloudification, RAN automation sales and support business in MOAI (Oceania, South East Asia and India markets). Suitable candidate should have a techno-commercial bent of mind, with an ambition to support cloud solution & sales for RAN access cloud networks, Automation platforms and related r-apps. The candidate will work in close coordination with Core and cloud team for bringing synergies in cloud platforms and related Cloud software stacks.
Responsibilities & Tasks:
• Customer engagement with the Business case, Value argumentation, and narratives for Cloud RAN, Open RAN, Automation platform (SON, rAPPS) solution and offerings.
• Support driving Presentations, White paper, Tactical and Strategic Sales discussions on cloud RAN, orchestration, open interface and related areas.
• Drive and Support all Ran cloudification and open RAN RFI & RFP.
• Align customer (CSP) requirements with Ericsson products and roadmaps from Radio, Virtualized Platform, Management & Orchestration
• Driving E2E Cloud & Open RAN Product Solution Trials, introduction and PoC
• Drive knowledge management and thought leadership across the market area, and work with global business units to share and gain knowledge relevant for business.
• Work in close cooperation with inter department Network Services, commercial management, supply organization, core and cloud teams via structured cross collaboration teams, driving sales, contracts, deployments, and ensure best TCO, Network capabilities.
To be successful in the role you must have
• Extensive understanding of cloud native technology/architecture, including microservices architecture, CNF architecture, container orchestration (Kubernetes), container runtime, platform services, GitOps and CI/CD architecture/pipelines
• Good understanding of Cloud technologies and how they are used in other businesses, including public Cloud providers, a good understanding of cloud services offerings from AWS and GCP.
• Good understanding of Cloud management and orchestration and CNF lifecycle.
• Good to have Cloud certifications - Google Cloud /AWS / LF certification (KCNA/KCSA/CKA/CKAD)
• Exposure to different CaaS solutions in the market (RHOCP, WRCP etc), CPU and GPU architecture, COTS hardware (HPE, Dell, Lenovo etc.), HCP, DC switching/routing, SDS and SDI.
• A good understanding of AI/ML technology, architecture, ML Ops etc.
• Good understanding of O-RAN alliance structure and working groups, Open RAN interfaces and initiatives, including various SMO platforms

• Good understanding of RAN technology, architecture (DRAN/CRAN), interfaces and operation
• Technical understanding of mobile systems and the RAN market, especially the deployment scenarios and motivations that drives the customer requirements, and the competitive landscape
• Understanding of Ericsson’s Cloud RAN portfolio and architecture
Preferred Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
• Academic degree: University degree in Engineering or equivalent. Master’s degree in considered an advantage.
• 10+ years of proven success in pre-sales, design, and delivery of cloud technology, Caas, Paas layers
• Proven track record in building and taking products to market in the Telecom industry
• Significant customer-facing experience
• Extensive skills in Presenting & Communicating Information, both commercially and technically.
• Strategic attitude, with the ability to span into tactical as needed.
• Team player with excellent collaboration and cooperation skills
• Broad range of business and financial knowledge in order to establish and develop a business dialog with the senior management both internally and with our customers
• Knowledge of access transmission Protocol Layers
• Good relationship within the SPM and TSS organization will be an added asset

• Strong leadership skills - ability to lead assigned client teams to achieve project objectives
