The role of the Chief Information Security Officer is pivotal in shaping the future of cybersecurity and digital innovation at Think Education. This accomplished technology leader will curate and execute a comprehensive cybersecurity roadmap, driving adoption of best-in-class cloud solutions and multi-cloud strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive technology and security strategy, embracing emerging tech and risk management.
  • Drive the adoption of best-in-class cloud solutions and multi-cloud strategies.
  • Embed security awareness and compliance excellence.
  • Prioritize security initiatives based on risk assessment and business impact.
  • Foster cybersecurity awareness and education within the organization.
  • Lead IT service management, service delivery, and support initiatives using frameworks like ITIL and DevOps.
  • Collaborate with IT leadership to align cybersecurity strategies with overall goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of industry experience with 5 years in managerial roles.
  • Expertise in cybersecurity practices, compliance frameworks, and risk management.
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure, cloud services (GCP, AWS, Azure, Office365), and data engineering.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to foster a security-aware culture and manage stakeholder engagement effectively.
  • Proficiency in project management and development of security strategies and awareness programs.
