Chief Information Security Officer

The role of the Chief Information Security Officer is pivotal in shaping the future of cybersecurity and digital innovation at Think Education. This accomplished technology leader will curate and execute a comprehensive cybersecurity roadmap, driving adoption of best-in-class cloud solutions and multi-cloud strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive technology and security strategy, embracing emerging tech and risk management.
- Drive the adoption of best-in-class cloud solutions and multi-cloud strategies.
- Embed security awareness and compliance excellence.
- Prioritize security initiatives based on risk assessment and business impact.
- Foster cybersecurity awareness and education within the organization.
- Lead IT service management, service delivery, and support initiatives using frameworks like ITIL and DevOps.
- Collaborate with IT leadership to align cybersecurity strategies with overall goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 10 years of industry experience with 5 years in managerial roles.
- Expertise in cybersecurity practices, compliance frameworks, and risk management.
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure, cloud services (GCP, AWS, Azure, Office365), and data engineering.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to foster a security-aware culture and manage stakeholder engagement effectively.
- Proficiency in project management and development of security strategies and awareness programs.
