The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to be part of an organisation dedicated to nation-building renewable energy projects that will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come.  

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract where you will assist with the accounts receivable processes across Transgrid, focusing on customer billing, generating invoices, and account statements. You will be responsible for managing cash and receipting processes, as well as reconciling bank statements. Additionally, you will assist with customer collections, debt management processing, and reporting.

Our ideal candidate will have experience in accounts receivables, customer billing, and general accounting. They will possess strong time management and stakeholder engagement skills, be proficient in Excel, and having knowledge of Oracle would be a bonus.

About you

  • Experience in accounts receivable, or general accounting.
  • Broad based skill set and capability and familiarity with financial and/or management accounting principles and guidelines.
  • Knowledge of the Oracle Financial System, or an equivalent ERP system, to support business processes.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access and SharePoint)
  • Strong Stakeholder engagement skills to develop strong internal and external successful partnerships.
  • Demonstrated time management skills including the ability to manage competing priorities to achieve deadlines and desired outcomes.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, be highly organised and self-motivated.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to enable engagement with people at all levels to understand client requirements and achieve business outcomes.
